Universal Pictures knows when and when not to create a certain film or who to join a partnership with. For over 100 years, Universal Pictures has been capable of understanding the society as well as their own brand. Diversification is “the process of a company enlarging or varying its range of products or field of operation”. Convergence is “when two or more things come together to form a new whole”. REFLECTION ON FIRST DAY SHOOTING
My first day of shooting was great. My group and i shot Thursday in Ms. Garcia’s office. Its was an interview about heroin use, staring Ms.Garcia. Everything was planned out good. Everyone was present, we brought all the equipment needed, we had our interview questions written out properly. The only thing we forgot to do was to give our interviewee the questions before hand so they would understand the questions and answer them more fluidly. but we didn’t do that so the interview took a little more time. Not a big deal though.
Analyzing Film Openings Using The Conventions Of Film
In the film “Interview with a Serial Killer” I loved the setting. At first they talked about how good the town that they are staying in is, then flipped the script and talked about all the bad that happens there. I didn’t like how they used the same shot more then once though.
In the film “The Imposer” I liked the sound it started off with soft music, which made you feel bad for the boys family members then the sound got a little scary and mysterious, it made you wonder and want to know more about the character. I didn’t like how they didn’t explain the story more. I feel like they could’ve went more into detail.
In “The Fundamental of Caring” I liked the character. The character has a sad personality but going into a caring job, its kind of ironic.
